When required, we also service farther distances like parts of New York and Maryland for an additional fee.

All of our inflatable decor and sports game come in various shapes and sizes. The dimensions of each inflatable is listed with the specific item.
All of our decor options are safe for children 10+ and up, or accomplice by an adult 18+ years or older. Unlike our games, we highly suggest that our decor items are not touched, moved or played with during your event for the safety of those attending.
Most of our games are suited for children 10+ and up, or accomplice by an adult 18+ years or older. All of our game clear age recommendation and safety features, allowing them to be used by any age 10+ an up. All of our games have protective barriers and are secured down to the ground so the do not move while being interacted with.
Inflatable Decor: This depends on the type of set up being displayed. All of our inflatable arches, columns and backdrops should be on a flat service on the grass (for us to anchor into the ground) or on concrete (for outdoors)/flat service (for indoors). All of our inflatable balls and specfically shapes can be used over a variety of service. The flatter the service the better the result!Inflatable Games: All of our games need to be on a flat and level surface. For outdoor purposes, we highly recommend the grass so we can anchor them down and for indoor purposes, we highly recommend a flat service like a gym floor or something similar.For all types of inflatables, the area around it should be clear or debris, other items or rentals (unlessed approved by MBM team), and not near any pointy or sharp objects.
Yes, an adult of someone 18+ years or older should always be present to supervise and ensure safety while playing our games. *Please note that a MBM team member WILL NOT be on site during your rental period. Please use safety.
Inflatable Decor: Under no circumstances should ANYONE be touching, climbing or moving these items.Inflatable Games: While most of our games do not allow people to climb them, some of them do. A maximum weight of 500 pounds is recommending if needing to climn on them.
If you have the electric blower on for an entire day, it will cost you under $1.
No. Per our insurance policy, we do not allow any clients to pick up, set up or breakdown any of our inflatables. We will do all of this for you.
Inflatable Decor: If any of the decor items require electricity, we will contact you for further instruction. For our big inflatable balls (and items similar), most of these are waterproof and can be left outside in the rain. If the weather gets worse, we will come move the items indoors or break them down.Inflatable Games: All of our games require electricity to power the fans. With this, if it rains or the weather gets worse, we will contact you for further instruction or come move the items indoors (if possible), or break down them until the weather passes.*We have the right to come break down any an all inflatables in inadequate weather.
All of our inflatable decor and games are cleaned before each use. If we notice that they are dirty onsite, we will clean them.
Client Cancellations: Cancellations made 30 or more days before the event are eligible for a credit toward a future event of equal or lesser value. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are not eligible for credit or refund. All payments made via PayPal or Venmo may include processing fees, which are non-refundable.MBM Cancellations: If Moments by Max must cancel your event, one of the following resolutions will be provided: - A full or partial refund (excluding processing fees) - A replacement balloon artist (if available) - A full credit toward a future event. All refunds will be processed within 30 days via the original payment method unless otherwise discussed.

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Moments by Max harmless of and from all claims, demands, losses, causes of action, damage, lawsuits, judgments, including attorneys' fees and costs, to the extent caused by or arising out of or relating to the work of Moments by Max. EquipmentWe use professional equipment and materials as intended for its particular purpose within all our designs. To limit your risk of damage we recommend that all décor, equipment, and any other items remain in the position and location they are ordered for, installed in, or placed in. Performance & HarmIf Moments by Max feels that the contract has been breached, and is not able to provide décor services on the date on the event due to weather, injury to our staff or the client, not enough time given to complete the task, violence or any other aspect affecting our ability to perform the task at hand, we are permitted to leave the event location with full payment.

While we do ask for at least 2 week notice before any event, we understand that things come up last minute. When you order early, we have time to prepare the best possible display with the least amount of stress involved for all parties. However, we will try our best to accommodate last-minute requests for an additional fee.
Pricing will be calculated by the following factors.

Final totals will be included in your invoice/contract. All parties will sign, date, and return back to us. Once an invoice/contract is signed, dated and returned back to us, your first deposit is due by the due date listed on the invoice. This is used to secure your date, and order supplies for your event. The rest of your payment is due on the date listed on your invoice. We will not go to your event/set-up unless you have paid your final deposit. Legal action may be pursued due to breach of contract. You will also be blocked from using our services in the future.
If you're event is more than a year away, we will ask you to secure your date with a $200 non-refundable retainer.
If you're event is less than a year away, we will ask you to secure your date with a 50% deposit.
If you're event is less than a month away, we will ask you to secure your date with full payment.

The lifespan of a balloon piece depends on both internal and external factors;
Are they filled with air or helium? Air-filled pieces can last weeks, whereas helium pieces might last only a couple of days to a week
Is this piece displayed indoors or outdoors? Indoor pieces will last longer than outdoor pieces due to environmental factors.
Unfortunately, we do not use balloons purchased outside of our own vendors. We want to ensure we are providing you with the highest quality balloons and materials for your décor.
Balloon decorations are one of the most popular ways to decorate an event and prices can range depending on what you are looking for and what the supply in the market looks like. The total cost of our décor depends on the type of décor you want, the products used, how many balloons you need or want, our time putting the piece together, travel & delivery, sales tax, etc. Décor can range anywhere from $100 to $1,000, depending on your order. Ask us for a quote!
Please remember that our minimum for larger orders is $500.
Yes, events can happen outdoors, with some limitations! Almost all of our entire balloon décor range can be placed outdoors. Balloons do better in the fall and spring months because of the temperature outside. The winter and summer months are tricky as weather can be a potential issue. Although, décor can still be done in those months! We ask that you tell us if your event is going to be taking place indoors, outdoors, or both so that we can adjust accordingly
Please see the following guidelines for outdoor décor.
Heat and direct sunlight can make balloons oxidize or even pop more rapidly than normal. Oxidation is the process of when the latex breaks down in the balloons, causing the balloons to have a "matte" like finish. All latex balloons kept outdoors will oxidize.
Putting outdoor décor under shade, a tent, or something along those lines will help your balloons last longer. We highly suggest NOT putting your décor in the direct sunlight.
We suggest if you are using latex balloons to go with lighter colors (whites, matte colors, etc). Darker colors will go down faster in the sun.
Wind and rain can and will affect balloons. If the balloons are not secured properly, the wind can ruin a display. If you have helium balloons, the rain will cause the helium balloons to not float. We suggest doing all air filled designs for outdoor décor, unless you know what the weather will be like the day of your event.
The cold weather does not affect balloons as much as the heat. Foil or Mylar balloons will tend to "go down" in the cooler temperatures.
Use foil or plastic balloons as much as possible for outdoor events, especially in the heat as they will last longer.
Make sure your event location will allow balloons outside.
DO NOT EVER release any helium filled balloons into the air.
MBM is not responsible for the weather after an event is set-up.
If we have a recommendation for your event, please respect it as we know what is best for the balloons and we want them to last as long as possible for you!
Yes! Most latex balloons are made from natural rubber and are 100% biodegradable. Foil and plastic balloons are not biodegradable, but they can be recycled. Please do not let balloons fly into the sky as they can cause power outages and harm wildlife.

Yes! We encourage on-site meetings to review important details prior to your event, especially if you intend to go all out with a big order. Our meetings are by appointment only via email info@momentsbymax.com or you can let us know you would like to schedule a meeting in the "Anything else we should know?" portion of our inquiry form.
At this time, we do not let clients pick up any rentals due to liability reasons. We will glagly deliver!

Our rental period is for 24hrs. If you want to keep them longer, we offer discounted rates for longer rental periods. Please inquire for more information.
Any set ups or breakdowns between the hours of 12AM to 5AM will be subject to an additional fee.
If we have your marquees in stock, we do ask for at least 1 weeks notice before your event.
If we do not have your marquees in stock and need to build or create them, we ask for at least 3 weeks to a month in advance.
However, we will try our best to accommodate last-minute requests for an additional fee.

Yes, our marquees can be placed outdoors with some limitations!
We ask that you please review the following guidelines for outdoor decor regarding marquees and rentals.
Our marquees can withstand LIGHT rain only, with winds up to 20mph. Anything more than 20mph; we can refuse the right to set up outside.
Make sure your event location allows the marquees outside.
Make sure that the location that the marquees are going has power. The marquee require power to turn on so we suggest having power within 20ft; we have extension cords if needed for a further distance of power. If no power is on site, we can pride a generator for an extra cost.
Have a backup plan for indoors inside of inclement weather! We will NOT set up outside if there is inclement weather. We want to make sure your event still happens with our decor, so please have a backup plan.
These recommendations are based on our experience and expertise. We highly suggest following our tips if you want to make you display last as long as possible!
Yes, all of types of our marquees require access to electricity to use. A standard power outlet will do and we will provide extension cords for further power sources. For places where there is no power (like a park or middle of a field), they would require a generator for power. We can provide a generator for an additional cost.
We do ask that the client knows where power is located before we get to the event for set up.
Absolutely - we are here to help! We want to make sure all can enjoy our marquees. We ask those to follow our simple guidelines below.
1) Treat our marquees like they are your own! Be gentle, be courteous and be mindful.
2) PLEASE DO NOT move our marquees after we finish set up. If you need to move them for any reason, please call/text us and we can either come back to help or instruct on how to move forward.
3) PLEASE DO NOT use any strong adhesives or permanent solutions on our marquees. If you want to attach balloons or something to our marquees, we ask that you use painters tape first and then apply your connection. The painters tape comes off easily and won't damage them.
4) PLEASE DO NOT mess with or change any of the electrical wires in the back of the marquees. All of our marquees are set up with extension cords. If you mess with them, you can mess with your set up and how it looks.
5) All marquees must be set up on level surfaces to stand up. We do not set up on anything uneven or unstable.
6) For our bulbed marquees, PLEASE DO NOT take out the bulbs (unless instructed). All of our bulbs are shatterproof, but they can still get damaged if messed with.
Yes - we offer custom built marquees for rent for an additional cost. The cost depends on the size, style, color and thickness of the marquee.
In addition, we do offer custom built marquees for purchase as well. Cost will depend on the same factors listed above.
Yes, all our letters are proudly made in the USA by our fabricators.
